PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure control device and a pressure control method capable of suitably keeping the ischemic state of a peripheral portion of a patient.SOLUTION: The pressure control device comprises: a cuff 3 to be worn on the first portion of a living body a blood pressure acquisition part 22 for acquiring a blood pressure value from the living body and a pressure controller 23 for controlling a pressure applied to the first portion by the cuff 3.
