Provided herein are azo prodrugs of small-molecule isoindoline- l,3-diones and isoindoles anti-inflammatory inhibitors according to formula IA, in particular PDE4 inhibitors, which prodrugs can be administered orally to a subject in need thereof, whereby the prodrugs are cleaved in the colon and the PDE4 inhibitor released.La présente invention concerne des promédicaments azoïques d'inhibiteurs à petites molécules d'isoindoline-l, 3-diones et d'isoindoles anti-inflammatoires selon la formule IA, en particulier des inhibiteurs de PDE4, lesdits promédicaments pouvant être administrés par voie orale à un sujet en ayant besoin, les promédicaments étant clivés dans le côlon et l'inhibiteur de PDE4 étant libéré.
