PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaler for animal which can be manipulated with the sensation of working with own fingertip nails and hardly enters the field of view of the animal during working.SOLUTION: A finger tip mounted safety scaler 100 includes a ring part 102 capable of fitting to the finger tip and a scraping part 104 which is attached to the ring part 102 and scrapes the dental calculus and the dental plaque attached to the dental surface.
