PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an ultrasonic image displaying connection of puncture needles to be intelligible.SOLUTION: A puncture instrument highlighting filter shaped according to a piercing angle of a puncture instrument such as a puncture needle is applied to improve the connection of images in the direction from which the puncture instrument is pierced, whereby puncture needles displayed intermittently generate a connected image.
