To provide a bed transport device capable of passing a narrow space in transport time of a bed.SOLUTION: A control part controls wheels 3A, 3B so that, a turning center is positioned to any one side of a cross direction of a bed 20 from a center P1 of the bed 20, in a turning operation of a bed transport device 100 in a state in which, a connection part 4 and a bed 20 are connected. If the front wheel 3B can secure a wide turning space easily, the control part controls the wheels 3A, 3B in a swinging mode (operation shown in the figure 8) for positioning the turning center CP on the rear side wheel 3A side. At the time, the bed transport device 100 and the bed 20 turn by a small turn amount on the rear wheel 3A side where the turning space cannot be easily secured, and can turn by a large turn amount on the front wheel 3B side where the turning space can be easily secured. According to a situation of a place where the bed transport device and the bed pass, the bed transport device 100 and the bed 20 can properly turn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8【課題】ベッドの搬送時に狭い場所を通過することができるベッド搬送装置を提供する。【解決手段】制御部は、連結部４とベッド２０が連結した状態でのベッド搬送装置１００の旋回動作時に、旋回中心をベッド２０の中心Ｐ１から、ベッド２０の前後方向のいずれか一方側に位置させるように車輪３Ａ及び車輪３Ｂを制御する。前側の車輪３Ｂの方が広い旋回スペースを確保し易い場合、制御部は、後側の車輪３Ａ側に旋回中心ＣＰを位置させる「首ふりモード」にて（図８に示す動作である）、車輪３Ａ，３Ｂを制御する。この場合、ベッド搬送装置１００及びベッド２０は、旋回スペースを確保し難い後側の車輪３Ａ側では小さく旋回し、旋回スペースを確保し易い前側の車輪３Ｂ側では大きく旋回することができる。このように、通過する場所の状況に合わせて、ベッド搬送装置１００及びベッド２０が適切に旋回することができる。【選択図】図８
