<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for growing fish and shellfish, suitable for the growth of the fish and shellfish. <；P>；SOLUTION: The device for growing the fish and shellfish has electrodes 3, arranged along the both side surfaces of an aquarium 2 so as to face to each other, and an AC power is fed through an insulating transformer 5 and a restricted current circuit 6 from a commercial electrical source 4 to the electrode 3 side.
