PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire capable of inhibiting bending of a core shaft by a simple method without requiring a particular labor.SOLUTION: A guide wire 10 includes: a core shaft 20 a first coil body 30 that is wound around a distal end of the core shaft 20 a first fixing part 11 that fixes a distal end of first coil body 30 to the distal end of the core shaft 20 and a second fixing part 12 that fixes the first coil body 30 to the core shaft 20 at a proximal side of the core shaft 20 with respect to the first fixing part 11.
