PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means easily introducing a plurality of guide wires in a target direction at a branch part of a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A guide wire insertion catheter 10 comprises: an outer shaft 11 a first inner shaft 12 that is inserted into the outer shaft 11 and in which a first guide wire 51 is inserted and a second inner shaft 13 that is inserted into the outer shaft 11 and in which a second guide wire 52 is inserted. A distal end of the first inner shaft 12 is extractable/retractable with respect to an opening 18 of the outer shaft 11. A distal end 31 of the second inner shaft 12 is obliquely laterally protruded and fixed at a fixing position 16.
