PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agrichemical composition having excellent preventive effect on noxious organisms.

SOLUTION: The agrichemical composition comprises an agrichemical active ingredient and a surfactant represented by formula (1): HOR1R3C-(CH2)n-CR2R4OH (wherein, R1and R2are independently a substituent selected from the group consisting of 3-6C alkyl groups R3and R4are independently a 1-2C alkyl group and n is an integer of 1-6). The agrichemical composition may further include an auxiliary agent, and, as the auxiliary agent, a cationic surfactant, an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant and an organic solvent are preferable.
