PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet stabilization device and its stabilizing method with which droplets flowing in a micro flow channel are stabilized using a simple constitution.SOLUTION: In a droplet generator 21, a flow channel of a dispersed phase fluid Ld becoming droplets D and a flow channel of a continuous phase fluid Lc intersect, and the droplets D are generated by shearing the dispersed phase fluid Ld with the continuous phase fluid Lc. In a main flow channel 15, the droplets D generated by the droplet generator 21 flow together with the continuous phase fluid Lc. Stabilizing liquid supply flow channels 32 are connected to the main flow channel 15. A stabilizing liquid Ls is supplied from a stabilizing liquid supply part 14 to the main flow channel 15 via the stabilizing liquid supply flow channels 32. The stabilizing liquid Ls is a fluid obtained by mixing a carrier oil the same as the continuous phase fluid Lc with a surfactant, however a concentration of the surfactant is higher in the stabilizing liquid Ls than in the continuous phase liquid Lc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
