PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine droplet generating device which is easy to be increased in size, can self-suction a liquid, and can generate a fine droplet of the desired size.
SOLUTION: A high pressure gas G is supplied from an upstream side of a tube 10. A ball-like negative-pressure generating body 11 is arranged at a boundary location of a first area 10A of the upstream side and a second area 10B of a downstream side. A plurality of liquid-suction holes 13 are provided on a wall surface of the tube 10, and the liquid L2 is self-sucked from a liquid chamber 12 to the inside of the tube 10. The high pressure gas G passes through a clearance between an inner wall of the tube 10 and the negative-pressure generating body 11, and the flow of the high pressure gas G turns to a high shearing flow to shear the liquid L2 self-sucked in the inside of the tube 10 finely, by which mist M containing a fine droplet L1 is blown out at the downstream side.
