Method for predicting the actual final placement of a dental implant to be implanted in a patients mouth in a hole to be made in a portion of the patients skull with the help of a surgical template (10), the method comprising the steps of: a) providing a surgical template (10) having a cap (12) positioned and oriented to define the axis of the hole mentioned above, said sleeve being adapted (12) for receiving guide tubes drilling machine which will guided drilling machines progressively increasing diameter for carrying out the aforementioned hole b) performing a TAC portion of said patients skull with the surgical template (10) positioned thereon c) extracting the surgical template (10) of the patients mouth d) performing a surgical template TAC (10) only e) generating from the TAC obtained in steps b) and d), a three-dimensional digital model of said portion of the patients skull, wherein the surgical template (10), and therefore the axis of the hole mentioned above , they are placed in the same position in which were placed in step b).Método para predecir la colocación final real de un implante dental que va a implantarse en la boca de un paciente, en un agujero que va a hacerse en una porción del cráneo del paciente con la ayuda de una plantilla quirúrgica (10), comprendiendo el método las etapas de: a) proporcionar una plantilla quirúrgica (10) que tiene un casquillo (12) colocado y orientado para definir el eje del agujero mencionado anteriormente, estando adaptado dicho casquillo (12) para recibir tubos guía de taladradora con los que van a guiarse las taladradoras de diámetro en aumento progresivamente para la realización del agujero mencionado anteriormente b) realizar un TAC de dicha porción del cráneo del paciente con la plantilla quirúrgica (10) colocada sobre la misma c) extraer la plantilla quirúrgica (10) de la boca del paciente d) realizar un TAC de la plantilla quirúrgica (10) solamente y e) generar, a partir de los TAC obtenidos en las etapas b) y d
