The present invention relates to a method for extracting buds 8 from a stalk 1 of a graminaceous plant. The method comprises the steps of obtaining at least one stalk half 7 by cutting the stalk 1 in longitudinal direction L of the stalk 1, automatically detecting a bud 8 on the stalk half 7 and cutting out a vegetal tissue comprising the bud 8 based on the detected position of the bud 8. Furthermore, the invention relates to a system for carrying out this method as well as the use of this system for extracting buds 8 from a stalk 1 of a graminaceous plant.La présente invention concerne un procédé pour extraire des bourgeons (8) d'une tige (1) de graminée. Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant à obtenir au moins une moitié de tige (7) par coupe de la tige (1) dans la direction longitudinale (L) de celle-ci, à détecter automatiquement un bourgeon (8) sur la moitié de tige (7) et à découper un tissu végétal comprenant le bourgeon (8) d'après la position détectée du bourgeon (8). L'invention concerne en outre un système permettant de mettre en œuvre ce procédé, ainsi que l'utilisation de ce système pour extraire des bourgeons (8) d'une tige (1) de graminée.
