It is described a process, starting from fishbones, for the production of a material having properties of physical type solar filter and photoprotective boosting agent, formed by particles of hydroxyapatite or hydroxyapatite substituted with metal ions, optionally mixed with calcium triphosphate and with metal oxides. Are also described the material obtained through the process and cosmetic or plant sunscreen compositions that comprise said material.L'invention concerne un procédé, partant d'arêtes de poisson, pour la production d'un matériau ayant des propriétés de filtre solaire de type physique et d'un agent d'amplification photoprotecteur, formé par des particules d'hydroxyapatite ou d'hydroxyapatite substituée par des ions métalliques, éventuellement mélangée avec du triphosphate de calcium et avec des oxydes métalliques. L'invention concerne également le matériau obtenu par le procédé et des compositions cosmétiques ou d'écran solaire pour plante qui comprennent ledit matériau.
