PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation base body and to provide a method for producing the vegetation base body.
SOLUTION: This vegetation base body has a crumbled structure which is suitable for growth of plants, and moldable at low pressure and temperature by using viscosity of sheath-core type fiber, instead of a liquid type adhesive, or adding a hot melt adhesive as a powder type adhesive gentle to the environment and a fibrous matter to artificial soil, and has sufficient bonding powder. The vegetation base body can easily absorb and hold water even when being dried after molding, by including, if necessary, bentonite and a water absorbing polymer. The method for producing the vegetation base body is also provided. Furthermore, a vegetation base body which is dissolvable in a short time after plants take root and gentle to the environment, and the production method therefor are each provided.
