A composition used in preparing anti-blue violet light contact lens comprises a crosslinking agent, an initiator, at least a monomer or prepolymer, and one or several azo reactive dyes. The prepolymer is obtained by polymerizing the monomer mixture containing the said monomer. The azo reactive dye has light transmittance less than 85% in the visible light of 380 to 500 nm wave length, and light transmittance of 85~100% in the visible light of 500 to 780 nm wave length.
