A multi-functional photo-bioreactor system for microalgae and a sampling method thereof are provided. The multi-functional photo-bioreactor system includes a cultivation system, an air supplying system and an environment monitoring system. The cultivation system has at least one tank for cultivating at least one type of microalgal medium. The amount of the tanks can be changed according to actual needs, while growth conditions of each of the tanks, such as nutrient, carbon source and light shielding control, can be individually adjusted. Thus, various different growth conditions can be provided to cultivate the same type or different type of microalgae, so as to meet the needs of intermediate scale pretest requirements before the mass production of microalgae.
