PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable flexible tube for an endoscope, without a risk of impairment of the adhesiveness between a blade and a sheath of the flexible tube caused by the elapse of using time of the endoscope or the moisture under the using (including cleaning) environment of the endoscope even after the endoscope is continuously used.
SOLUTION: The flexible tube for the endoscope includes a spiral tube formed by spirally winding a strip-shaped plate the blade covering the outer surface of the spiral tube and the resin sheath covering the outer surface of the blade. The blade is made of metal fiber with a mold releasing agent and heat-resistant resin fiber with an adhesive which are blended in a net-like pattern, and is bonded to the sheath with the adhesive.
