PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even an unskilled operator to perform a proper operation without giving a subject cause for anxiety.SOLUTION: A medical diagnostic system is provided that includes a medical diagnostic device and a terminal device. The medical diagnostic device generates a medical image on the basis of an output from a scan part, causes a first display part to display the medical image, generates a compressed image by compressing the medical image and wirelessly transmits the compressed image to the terminal device. The terminal device causes a second display part to display the compressed image in such a manner that the display of the compressed image substantially synchronizes with the display of the medical image. The terminal device generates marker information including position information which indicates a position on the compressed image and text information in accordance with each input by a user and wirelessly transmits the text information and the marker information to the medical diagnostic device.
