PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for contact lens care which quickly sterilizes harmful microorganisms and yet does not adversely affect eye tissues.
SOLUTION: The composition for contact lens care contains a polymer antimicrobial agent, and a polyoxyethylene polyoxypolypropylene glycol. Ethylene oxide content of the total molecule of the polyoxyethylene polyoxypolypropylene glycol is 10-60% and the molecular weight of the hydrophobic groups is &ge1,500.
