PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point electrode capable of preventing piercing pain or damage to the skin while securing the conductive area.SOLUTION: The point electrode 1 comprises an insulated base material 2 made of synthetic resin and an electrode 3 made of stainless steel. An electrode attaching hole 4 is bored at the center of the insulated base material 2. The electrode 3 comprises a circular contact electrode part 11 and a spring-shaped coil part 12. The coil part 12 is a coil spring to energize the contact electrode part 11 in the axial direction, and is stored inside the electrode attaching hole 4. The contact electrode part 11 projects from an apex 2b of the insulated base material 2, and approximately 1/3 of the diameter is stored in the electrode attaching hole 4. When the point electrode 1 is attached to the skin, the contact electrode part 11 is brought into contact with the skin while the coil part 12 is flexed. Accordingly, the electrode 3 is brought into contact with the skin very softly, and therefore, the pain and stimulation felt when the electrode is attached can be reduced and the sense of use can be improved.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】導電面積を確保しつつ、使用時の刺すような痛みや皮膚への損傷を防止し得る点電極を提供する。【解決手段】点電極1は、合成樹脂製の絶縁基材2とステンレス製の電極3を有する。絶縁基材2の中央部には電極取付孔4が貫通形成されている。電極3は、円形の接触電極部11と、バネ状のコイル部12とを備える。コイル部12は接触電極部11を軸方向に付勢するコイルばねとなっており、電極取付孔4内に収容される。接触電極部11は、絶縁基材2の頂部2bから突出しており、直径の約1/3程度が電極取付孔4に収容されている。点電極1を皮膚に装着すると、コイル部12が撓みつつ、接触電極部11が皮膚に接触する。従って、電極3が極めてソフトに皮膚と接触し、電極装着の際の痛みや刺激が抑えられ、使用感の向上が図られる。【選択図】図2
