The invention concerns a device for removal of undesirable substances and items, such as metabolic waste products, soiling, dust and cosmetics residues from around the eyes, whose substance lies in that it comprises a functional part (1) from porous polymer, mainly hydrophilic polymer, which is shaped for non-aggressive contact with the cleaned area of the eye and adapted by its porousness for absorption of non-toxic and non-irritant fluid, as well as methods for producing said device.
