The present invention relates to a method for preparing a neutralized matrix of non-antigenic collagenous material comprising the steps of: —a) preparing an acidic solution of non-antigenic collagenous material, —b) pouring the solution of a) into a mold in order to form a layer, —c) lyophilizing the layer of b) in order to obtain an acidic matrix of non-antigenic collagenous material, d) sterilizing the acidic matrix obtained in c) with ethylene oxide in order to obtain a neutralized matrix of non-antigenic collagenous material. The invention also relates to the matrices obtained and to surgical implants comprising such matrices.La présente invention concerne un procédé pour préparer une matrice neutralisée de matière de collagène non-antigénique, le procédé consistant à : - a) préparer une solution acide de matière de collagène non-antigénique, - b) verser la solution de a) dans un moule pour former une couche, - c) lyophiliser la couche de b) pour obtenir une matrice acide de matière de collagène non-antigénique, d) stériliser la matrice acide obtenue en c) à l'aide d'oxyde d'éthylène pour obtenir une matrice neutralisée de matière de collagène non-antigénique. L'invention concerne également les matrices obtenues, et des implants chirurgicaux comprenant de telles matrices.
