To provide a dental handpiece that can be provided with a sensor without complicating and upsizing a structure in a handpiece head.SOLUTION: A dental handpiece 1 comprises a handpiece head 2 arranged at a front end part, a connecting part 3 arranged at a rear end part, a plurality of metal pipes 4 and 5 provided from the handpiece head 2 to the connecting part 3, and an elastic resin member 6 fitted so as to cover the metal pipes 4 and 5.
