PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an SiOion-containing sintered &bgr-TCP having excellent mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of sintered ceramic biomaterial includes: a step of mixing raw materials of a phosphorus ion source material, a silicon ion source material, a calcium ion source material, a monovalent cation source material for electrical charge compensation, and a divalent cation source material for structural stability, with a composition ratio of the silicon ion source material being less than 4.0 mol% a step of calcining the mixture obtained in the mixing step a step of molding the calcined product obtained in the calcining step and a step of firing the molded product obtained in the molding step at a temperature of higher than 1000°C and lower than 1150°C.
