PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain laser beams which have an appropriate beam profile by suppressing an energy loss of the laser beams without using a distortion generating optical system of a complicated structure, and to form more uniform coagulation spots by reducing a speckle noise.
SOLUTION: An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus equipped with a light guiding optical system which condenses laser beams from a treatment laser source to a prescribed beam diameter and makes the laser beam enter an optical fiber for irradiating an affected area of a patients eye with the laser beams emitted from the optical fiber includes: an eccentric optical system which is disposed on an incident side of the optical fiber and makes the laser beams enter by making the laser beams entering the optical fiber eccentric relative to the center of an incident end surface of the optical fiber and an eccentric position altering means for altering the eccentric position of the laser beams by the eccentric optical system at least between a first position which is the center of the incident end surface of the optical fiber and a second position which is eccentric by a prescribed amount.
