PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rehabilitation apparatus suitable for the rehabilitation of a finger where extension position contracture arises.
SOLUTION: The rehabilitation apparatus includes: a palm support part to be put on a wrist and a palm to restrict the retortion of the wrist a finger support part to be fixedly mounted on a finger bone, positioned on the fingertip side of a joint where the extension position contracture arises to thereby support the finger and a traction means for pulling the finger support part to pull the finger toward a bending direction. Then, the apparatus restores the function of the finger where the extension position contracture arises. The apparatus also includes a moving means for moving the finger support part to the extending direction of the joint where the extension position contracture arises when the finger with the finger support part mounted thereon is pulled by the traction means.
