PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter that can inject a desired amount of contrast media without pulling out a stylet wire from the catheter, and does not deteriorate followability of the catheter for a guide wire.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 into which a stylet wire 2 is inserted includes a body part 11, a tip part 12, and a base end part 13. The tip part 12 includes a small diameter part 12b and a medium diameter part 12c whose diameter is larger than the small diameter part 12b. The small diameter part 12b has an inner diameter that allows the inner peripheral surface to be curved along the outer peripheral surface of the stylet wire 2 when it is curved with the stylet wire 2 inserted therein. The medium diameter part 12c has an inner diameter that allows medicine to circulate with stylet wire 2 inserted therein.
