PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control technique of an adaptive beam former based on heterogeneous characteristics in a subject medium which varies in accordance with a frequency in a medical ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic imaging apparatus receives an ultrasonic echo from a subject, delays a reception signal in accordance with a prescribed reception focus position, and forms a first time signal group. Each of a plurality of partial band adaptive processing parts 22-1 to 22-P extracts a second time signal group with a prescribed frequency band from the first time signal group, obtains adaptive weight by performing adaptive processing on the second signal group, and performs addition after weighting the second time signal group with the adaptive weight. Consequently, adaptive processing can be properly performed for each frequency band even if a reception signal has a wide band.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】医用超音波診断装置において、周波数に応じて変化する被検体媒質中の不均質特性に即した適応ビームフォーマの制御技術を提供する。【解決手段】被検体からの超音波エコーを受信し、所定の受信焦点の位置に応じて受信信号を遅延させて第一の時間信号群を形成する。複数の部分帯域適応処理部22-1~22-Pは、それぞれ、第一の時間信号群から所定の周波数帯域の第二の時間信号群を抽出し、第二信号群に適応処理を行って適応重みを求め、適応重みにより第二の時間信号群を重み付けした後加算する。これにより、広い帯域の受信信号であっても、周波数帯域ごとに適切に適応処理することができる。【選択図】図2
