PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a flavoring material that enables imparting flavor of a natural food material with safety and low cost without using additives such as spices and organic solvents, and to provide an apparatus for manufacturing the flavoring material as well as a flavoring beverage and a foodstuff.SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the flavoring material, the flavor obtained by heating and volatilizing the natural food material is imparted to an object. The natural food material is favorably at least one or more selected from flavor plants, dried bonito shavers, dried kelp, and fruits. Furthermore, the object is favorably either of liquid drinks or liquid foods.
