PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope, and an opening inspection method and an airtightness inspection method of an internal space of the endoscope, enabling the opening inspection and airtightness inspection of the internal space of the endoscope to be surely performed.SOLUTION: In the opening inspection method, a communication port 34 is opened to outside air, an air supply tester 72 is connected to the connector 62 of the communication port, and air is supplied from the air supply tester 72 to the internal space of the endoscope 10. Then, the pressure of the internal space is measured by a pressure measurement gauge 75 of the air supply tester 72. In the meantime, in the airtightness inspection method, the communication port 34 is closed by a plug to seal the internal space, and the air supply tester 72 is connected to the connector 62 of the communication port.
