PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of easily producing a biological model in which other members come in contact with hydrogel containing polyvinyl alcohol at a desired position, and a method of manufacturing the biological model.SOLUTION: A container 30 into which at least one of water and a water-soluble organic solvent and polyvinyl alcohol solution in which polyvinyl alcohol is contained are made to pour is for producing a biological model simulating a living matter used for training or a test for a medical appliance. The container includes a bottom face 92 of an internal space capable of accommodating a polyvinyl alcohol solution and at least two hooks 106 that protrude in the internal space and are capable of catching a fiber material.
