PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking movement analyzer which carries out a calculation of physical strength characteristics and a classification of walking movements and displays the calculated physical strength characteristics and the result of the classification of walking movements.
SOLUTION: The walking movement analyzer is equipped with: a body movement measuring means 1 for measuring body movements at one or a plurality of regions of a human body during the walking movements a storage means 2 in which a data table showing the correlation between the body movements obtained by the body movement measuring means 1 and the physical strength characteristics is stored a physical strength characteristics calculating means 3 for calculating physical strength characteristics from the body movements obtained by the means 1 by referring to the data table stored in the storage means 2 a walking movement classification means 4 for classifying the walking movements by carrying out a cluster analysis based on the body movements obtained by the means 1 and a display means 5 for displaying the physical strength characteristics calculated by the means 3 and the result of classification of the walking movements by the means 4.
