[Solution] This volatilizer for volatilizing a volatile agent by heating same comprises: a volatile-agent retaining body including a core material impregnated with the volatile agent and a device body having a supporting part that supports the volatile-agent retaining body, and a heating part through which a current is passed and that heats the volatile agent. The heating part has a heat-generating body through which a current is passed and that generates heat. The supporting part supports the volatile-agent retaining body such that the core material comes into contact with the heat-generating body.
