A method for radiation treatment includes adjusting a plurality of adjustable elements on a radiation treatment bra to establish a reference breast geometry and aligning the patient to a radiation treatment machine by projecting a light field through windows provided in the radiation treatment bra during a radiation treatment planning session. To begin actual radiation treatment, the reference breast geometry is reestablished by repeating the original adjustments of the adjustable elements, as necessary.
