PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for hair which can fully exert spinnability not only at the time of normal temperature storage but also at the time of high temperature storage, in a composition which is blended with a high polymerization polyethylene glycol.SOLUTION: The composition for hair contains: (A) a high polymerization polyethylene glycol having an average degree of polymerization of 10,000-200,000 (B) hydroxyethanediphosphonic acid and/or its salt and (C) water. When the composition is an emulsification, the composition further contains: (D) oil solution and (E) a nonionic surfactant.
