PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiotherapy apparatus for performing radiation therapy by suppressing the destruction of tissues of an affected area.SOLUTION: A grid 16 where a plurality of slits 50 with a width of 25 &mum, which prevents the destruction of the tissues of the affected area by radiation, are formed is arranged on the side of a radiation source of the affected area 18 of a patient, and the affected area 18 of the patient is irradiated with the radiation transmitted through the grid 16.
