A portable device including a housing comprising a first opening and a second opening and a resuscitator bag. The resuscitator bag is disposed at least partially within the housing and includes an air inlet supported at the first opening of the housing, an air outlet supported at the second opening of the housing, and a self-inflating bag. The portable device also includes a double-sided compression mechanism disposed within the housing. The double sided-compression mechanism includes a pair of arms at least partially surrounding the self-inflating bag. The pair or arms are configured to move towards each other to compress the self-inflating bag to provide positive pressure ventilation via the air outlet and to move away from each other to enable re-inflation of the self-inflating bag via the air inlet； and, a motor coupled to the pair of arms for moving the pair of arms towards and away from each other.L'invention concerne un dispositif portatif comprenant un boîtier comportant une première ouverture et une seconde ouverture et un ballon de réanimation.
