A heating device for cup-shaped receptacles (2) such as e.g. coffee cups or glases, said device comprising support means (3) for supporting a receptacle (2), said support means (3) comprise heating means (1) which are designed to generate and guide to the receptacles (2) heated air or radiating heat in order to heat a surface of the receptacle (2), wherein said surface is preferably the whole inner and/or outer surface (2a, 2b) of the cup-shaped receptacle (2).
