This foaming detergent composition for use in bed bath contains 0.1 to 10 mass% of a component (a) that is a polyoxyethylene sorbit fatty acid ester or a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, 0.1 to 15 mass% of a component (b) that is a water-soluble di- or tri-hydric alcohol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, 0.001 to 20 mass% in terms of dry residue of a component (c) that is sericin, and 0.0001 to 1 mass% in terms of dry residue of a component (d) that is a eucalyptus extract obtained either from Eucalyptus globulus which is a myrtaceous plant or from an allied species thereto.
