PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine hollow protrusion manufacturing method capable of inexpensively and stably mass-producing fine hollow protrusions having high accuracy in the height of the fine hollow protrusions and including through-holes having high accuracy in the dimension of the through-holes.SOLUTION: The fine hollow protrusion 1 manufacturing method according to the present invention, comprises a protrusion part forming step of bringing a convex part 11 having heating means into contact from one face 2D side of a substrate sheet 2A and, while softening with heat a contact portion TP, penetrating the substrate sheet 2 with the convex part 11 towards another face 2U of the substrate sheet 2A, and forming a protrusion part 3 which protrudes from the other face 2U and has a through-hole 3h.
