PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide creamy detergent compositions which are hydrophilic, have excellent foamability, form stability and usability, in creamy detergent compositions containing N-acyl acidic amino acid salt as a main component.SOLUTION: A detergent composition in which the ratio of the minor axis to the major axis (the minor axis/major axis) of the crystal of (A) N-acyl acidic amino acid salt which is present in the detergent composition is 0.12 or more is obtained by preparing a creamy detergent composition containing (A) N-acyl acidic amino acid salt, (B) polyhydric alcohol and (C) water by a common production method, subsequently heating to crystallizing temperature again, and stirring it to grow the needle crystal of (A) N-acyl acidic amino acid salt.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】Ｎ－アシル酸性アミノ酸塩を主成分として含有するクリーム状洗浄剤組成物において、水となじみやすく、起泡性に優れ、形態安定性が良好で使用性に優れたクリーム状洗浄剤組成物を提供する。【解決手段】（Ａ）Ｎ－アシル酸性アミノ酸塩、（Ｂ）多価アルコールおよび（Ｃ）水を含有するクリーム状洗浄剤組成物を、一般的な製造方法により調製した後、再度晶析温度まで加熱して撹拌を行うことにより、（Ａ）Ｎ－アシル酸性アミノ酸塩の針状結晶を成長させ、洗浄剤組成物中に存在する（Ａ）Ｎ－アシル酸性アミノ酸塩の結晶の長径に対する短径の比率（短径／長径）が０．１２以上である洗浄剤組成物を得る。【選択図】なし
