Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zur Herstellung einer kieferorthopädische Apparatur wird in zahntechnischen Laboren oder direkt in den Zahnarztpraxen angewendet. Die vorliegende Erfindung hat zur Aufgabe, alternativ zu den konventionellen Methoden, einen neuen Ansatz für eine optimierte patientenindividuelle, aber dennoch kostengünstige und effiziente kieferorthopädische Versorgung zur ermöglichen. Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt für die Herstellung herausnehmbarer Geräte mit Hilfe von Oralscanner basierten CAD-gestützten 3-D-Printverfahren. Bei der verfahrenstechnischen Umsetzung sind insbesondere die universelle Übertragbarkeit auf Pulver- und Harz-Printverfahren zur Generierung beliebiger dreidimensionaler Geometrien von Interesse. Neu an der Erfindung ist, dass entgegen dem Stand der Technik keine Negativform erstellt werden muss. Durch das Printverfahren mit einem 3D-Drucker oder die Formgebung mit einer CNC-Fräsmaschine wird die kieferorthopädische Apparatur als Original hergestellt.The method according to the invention for producing an orthodontic apparatus is employed in dental laboratories or directly in dental practices. The object of the present invention is to provide an alternative to the conventional methods by proposing a novel approach for optimized orthodontic treatment which is tailored to the individual patient but is still cost-effective and efficient. For the production of removable appliances, the object is achieved with the aid of CAD-assisted 3D printing methods based on oral scanners. The universal transferability to powder printing and resin printing methods for generating any desired three-dimensional geometries is in particular of interest in the technical implementation. The novel aspect of the invention is that, by contrast with the prior art, no negative form has to be created.
