The present invention relates to a turmeric sugar syrup and a method to manufacture a beverage using the same. The turmeric sugar syrup is manufactured by adding sugar and an emulsifier thereinto. According to the present invention, the amount of extracted curcumin is increased, and the turmeric sugar syrup can be manufactured into a beverage which can conveniently be drunken by people.
