This invention relates to a fishing lure assembly including an inner body and an outer body comprising at least one cavity or aperture extending through each of the inner body and outer body, the inner body and outer body adapted such that in use, at least a portion of the inner body is capable of being releasably received within a cavity in the outer body and the outer body and inner body each including one or more flanges or recesses, such that in use, the one or more flanges or recesses of the outer body engage with one or more elongate flanges or recesses of the inner body for form the fishing lure assembly.
