The present invention relates to an absorbent article comprising, in immobilized form: a) microcapsules formed in a proportion of at least 25% by weight relative to the total weight of polymer (s) forming the microcapsules of a material derived from at least one natural polymer, one of its protein analogues, or one of its derivatives, and loaded with at least one active agent, and b) at least one release agent, capable of stimulating the dissolution of the microcapsules during the setting in contact with the absorbent article with an aqueous medium, and chosen from enzymes, water-soluble surfactants at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure, and mixtures thereof, the microcapsules a) and the release agent b) being present in said article under a form isolated from each other.La présente invention concerne un article absorbant comprenant, sous une forme immobilisée : a) des microcapsules formées à raison d'au moins 25 % en poids par rapport au poids total en polymère(s) formant les microcapsules d'un matériau dérivant d'au moins un polymère naturel, d'un de ses analogues protéiniques, ou d'un de ses dérivés, et chargées en au moins un actif, et b) au moins un agent de libération, apte à stimuler la dissolution des microcapsules lors de la mise en contact de l'article absorbant avec un milieu aqueux, et choisi parmi les enzymes, les tensioactifs hydrosolubles à température ambiante et pression atmosphérique, et leurs mélanges, les microcapsules a) et l'agent de libération b) étant présents dans ledit article sous une forme isolée l'une de l'autre.
