PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus by which a measurement position is easily recognized in a stereoscopic image and which can improve measurement accuracy of the measurement position.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a distance data calculation part 50 to calculate first distance information that is distance information between a subject indicated in an object stereoscopic image S and an imaging unit 22 and an index position calculation part 60 to calculate second distance information that is distance information between a measurement index E and the imaging unit 22.
