The present invention relates to a method for generating nitrous acid ions in plant extracts or pulverized plant products by using plasma. Specifically, plasma treated Perilla frutescens extracts or pulverized plant products produced by the method of the present invention contains a large amount of nitrous acid and nitric acid to exhibit excellent antibacterial activity. Therefore, the plant extracts treated with the plasma has not only natural nitrous acid additives, but also can be usefully used as a composition using pharmacological activity of the nitrous acid.본 발명은 플라즈마를 이용하여 식물 추출물 또는 식물 분쇄물 내 아질산 이온을 생성하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 발명의 방법으로 제조된 플라즈마를 처리한 소엽 추출물 또는 식물 분쇄물은 내부에 아질산 및 질산이 다량 생성됨으로써 우수한 항균활성을 나타낼 수 있다. 따라서 상기 플라즈마를 처리한 식물 추출물은 천연 아질산 첨가물뿐만 아니라, 아질산이 갖는 약리학적 활성을 이용한 조성물로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
