PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar-free pineapple extract having excellent effect, safety, environmental properties, and productivity; a method for producing the sugar-free pineapple extract; and applications of the sugar-free pineapple extract as a laminin-5-production promotor, a skin hyaluronic acid-production promotor, a hyaluronidase activity inhibitor, a transglutaminase-1-production promotor, a melanogenesis inhibitor, a hair papilla cell growth promotor, food, a skin care preparation, and a hair restorer.
SOLUTION: The sugar-free pineapple extract containing no glucose or fructose is obtained by extracting pineapple edible parts with a solvent.
