PURPOSE: An interface system and a method thereof are provided to control an output screen of a terminal by using brainwave information and eye line position information of a user instead of an input device such as a keyboard or a mouse. CONSTITUTION: A display device(200) includes infrared lighting. A camera(400) obtains an eye image about an eye to which the infrared lighting emits infrared light. A brainwave analyzing device(300) calculates brainwave information by obtaining a brainwave through a brainwave sensor. A terminal(100) trances an eye line position by using the eye image, performs a command set for an area corresponding to the eye line position in an output screen of the display device, and controls the output screen by performing a command corresponding to the brainwave information.인터페이스 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 인터페이스 시스템은 적외선 조명이 장착된 디스플레이 장치, 적외선 조명이 적외선을 조사한 눈에 대한 눈 영상을 획득하는 카메라, 뇌파 센서를 통해 뇌파를 획득하여 뇌파 정보를 산출하는 뇌파 분석 장치 및 눈 영상을 이용하여 시선 위치를 추적하고, 디스플레이 장치의 출력 화면에서 시선 위치에 대응하는 영역에 설정된 명령을 수행하고, 뇌파 정보에 대응하는 명령을 수행하여 출력 화면을 제어하는 단말을 포함한다.
